Not sure this is only about 'Ball Tampering'..
The last 24 hours have been the worst for the game of cricket in the recent past. Steven Smith and Cameron Bancroft confessed it all in the press conference after the end of day three's play. Young Australian opener who was just finding his feet in international cricket was found trying to change the condition of the ball with a foreign object which was later found out to be a sticky tape attached with some granules from the pitch. Steven Smith said it was all pre-planned in the lunch break and the fact that leadership group knew about it completely baffles my mind. Now a couple of interesting things to for me were that the game was virtually out of Australia's hands and there was no point doing such a silly thing when South Africa were 150-2 and 200 runs ahead.
